It works by measuring levels of a hormone called human chorionic gonadotropin (HCG) which is produced in the placenta of a pregnant woman. This test is measured by either blood or urine. There are several methods for measuring pregnancy, such as ICT, Agglutination, ELISA, etc where the ICT method is rapid and easy.
Test Procedure of Pregnancy Tests in ICT Method
1. Collect urine samples in a clean, dry container.
2. Remove the test from the foil pouch and place it on a level surface.
3. Holding the dropper above the test device, add 3-4 drops of urine into the sample hole.
4. Read the results after 3-4 minutes. Do not read the results after 15 minutes.
